Playground

• Received revised quote minus the zipline, will use this for quoting purposes for grant application

• Working on a grant with help from experienced grant writers, deadline is April 29th

• Discussed starting playground project with the funds that are already set aside

Rainwater collection

• Motion made to allocate $5,000 to subsidize the purchase of rainwater collection tanks for members

• Forms will be prepared and sent out to interested members for them to fill out

• MLPOS involvement is to assist with the reimbursement for installed tanks, installation will be the home owner’s responsibility

Magic Lake

• Magic lake will be stocked with fish and will be monitored to ensure the lake remains healthy

Welcome Sign

• The new Magic Lake Welcome Sign, located at the fire hall is being completed. The sign will include a 50 km speed limit.

Treasurer’s Report

• Jean presented attached financial reports for discussion

• Everything is on track, no change until annual fees come in

Marina Report

• Wally received several old photos of the marina, these will be kept at the marina office and at some point, put on the Magic Lake website

• Boat trailer purchased for $20

• 4 of the 6 picnic tables have been delivered

Recreation/Tennis Report

• The courts have required more cleaning due to the excessive pollen
