• Our MLA, Adam Olsen met with the new Minister for Municipal Affairs, Nathan Cullen, to lobby for our request for a Governance Study

Playground

• Application for FCC AgriSpirit Grant was completed and sent in.

• Lori was notified regarding another grant opportunity. She will be confirming whether or not our project meets requirements to apply.

Rainwater collection

• The 3 forms that will be required to be filled out by interested parties were sent to Directors for their review

• Awaiting confirmation from CRD whether there is available funding

Welcome Sign

• The new Magic Lake Welcome Sign, located at the fire hall is being completed. The sign will include a 50 km speed limit.

Treasurer’s Report

Marina Report

• Marina boat and boat trailer require maintenance

• Volunteers are needed to re-paint parking lines at the marina

Recreation/Tennis Report

• The courts have been played regularly

• Pollen still has to be removed from the courts
